A nature experience of a special kind offers the Recker Moor. Originating around 6.000 BC, the Recker Moor is one of the Germany's last living raised bogs. Two viewing towers allow great views over the 371 ha large site. Information signposts explain the moor, which is habitat to rare plants and animals. Walking along the circular hiking path, visitors can explore the unique landscape.
